LSU already has several great prospects commited to them here they are...

Top 5 Commitments

Russel Shepard, QB- 6-2/185/ 4.4- - Housten, Tx- Lightning fast kid, great ability to improvise, good passer, He could end up fighting for a sarting job in 2009.

Keven Minter, LB- 6-1/240/4.60 - - Suwanee, GA - Extremly great athlete, he'll come and fit right in on LSU's defense, has a great ability to alude blocks.

Michael Ford, RB - 5-9.5/206/4.69- - Leesville, LA - He was hurt when he ran that 40, he normaly runs in the 4.5-4.45 area. But the amazing thing about this kid isn't his speed, it's his stregth. This kid is benching 435 lbs. and squating 525 lbs. he's a truly unbeilevably strong player. He'll be a great short yardage guy when he arives at LSU.

Dexter Pratt, RB- 6-2/220/4.5- - Navasota, TX- This is yet another great blend of power and speed, combined Ford, they'll be one of the better one two punches in college football.

Drayton Calhoun, CB- 6-0/175/4.4- - Tucker, GA- Amazing agility, good hands for a CB and most of all he is a very sure takler.

Wish List

Jamarcus McFarland, DT- 6-3/285/4.85- - Lufkin, TX- Very good Pass rush DT, man handles O-linemen, extremly smart, and is the class president at his high school. most sites have LSU nmuber one on his list.

Chris Davenport, DT- 6-4/311/5.25-- Manfeild, LA- Great run stoper, is more agile than his for insist, and is extremly strong, Scout and rivals have LSU at the top of his list.

Rueben Randle, WR- 6-2/195/4.50 -- Bastrop, LA- Great WR, even better returner, and most importantly, he's a winner, in his high school career at Bastrop he has yet to lose a game.

Randle is on the nation's wish list. Let's hope he doesn't pull a Joe McKnight on us!
