The Darfur genocide is a discrace to everyone, from Darfur to America we all swore long ago that there would never be any more genocide weather it be because of national, ethnical, or religious differences yet its happening today. Arent us americans and other countries supose to help the people that arent being treated fairly and this is no different

Over 400,000 darfurians have been killed by the army, militas, and criminals.2.5 million have fled there homes to live in refugee camps throughout Darfur set up by the UN and other charities in the U.S and also camps in Chad and the Central African Republic. The women are suffering even more, they may not have to fight but there getting rapped by not one but 30 men, now thats just wrong. One day your village can be a safe happy place while the next moment you could be on the run tring to find one of these camps while escaping your own government because your village has been burnt down. All this is caused because of the Arib leadership in there government which wants all the africans to be killed and out of there countrie and our government looks the other way because Darfurian leaders have been giving us little bits of info hear and there about Iran and the rest of the middle east. Instead of focusing on Iraq we should be helping the people that need to be helped so Darfur doesnt become as bad as Germany was during world war two. The US needs to take a stand as we should all because Darfur needs our help and we are one of a few nations with enough money, goods, and machines that can make a difference

Now for a brighter topic, the election. Ill be honest I havent picked and wont pick a party intil im 18 but this year Obamas looking better then McCain. Obama seems like the average american who fights for what we the people belive in. He promises to lower taxes, will try to get more guns off the streets, and pull us out of Iraq. As a 13 year old i find myself pondering over the War in Iraq, I want us out because I dont want to have to fight myself but as ive found out there could be some major consequences for pulling out of Iraq. For one Iran could take over Iraq which would make them stronger and a bigger threat to us. They would have more soliders and engineres to work on projects while having more protection of there prized cities and more space to build lazers, guns, and be better protected for a US attack. Im really seeing McCain differently now but if the election was today and I was 18 I would still vote for Obama
