One thing that has been bothering me for quite some time is the Clippers. Well not exactly them but why, why, why, why, why are you in L.A! L.A is Laker's world and it's been just that for quite some time now. L.A does not need two basketball teams.... the Lakers is more than enough! It's funny to hear people say that the Clippers try to get more publicity than the Lakers and that they could actually make the Lakers sweat a little. But guess what that's not true! Ok the Clippers might have improve a little now that they have Baron Davis, Marcus Camby and lets not forget the young talent Al Thornton but in the end the Lakers are a giant step of head of the Clips. The Lakers have history behind them like the Show Time Lakers in the 80s and the only history the Clippers have is Elton Brand which is history, because he knew the the Clippers weren't going anywhere especially being in the Laker's shadow all the time. Why can't the Clippers just move to Anahiem or something? In L.A they won't ever get anything but a back seat ticket to the Laker's band wagon.

1) Majority of Donald Sterlings investment & legal practice are in L.A. County, is why he's still here.
2) The Clippers do have a history, starting with The Buffalo Braves featuring Randy Smith, Bob Mac Adoo, Erne DiGregorio, John Shumate & Elmore Smith Then they moved to San Diego featuring Swen Nader, Micheal Cage, Marcus Johnson, Tom Chambers, World B. Free and of course hometown hero Bill Walton.
All this dosen't erase the fact that I agree with you on the team moving to retrieve their own fan base and idenity. This is the home of champions. We've been to the finals 29 times in 59 NBA years and made the playoffs 56 times during that span. We're the first team to re-peat and three-peat (1949,50 & 52-54) Is that a legacy or what?

Venomous - thank you for mentioning the Buffalo Braves. I went to many of their games as a teenager in the old "Aud" in Buffalo. Those Jack Ramsey coached years were this franchises best, and perhaps the sports god's penalty for leaving Buffalo is a lifetime of mediocrity as the Clippers. Perhaps a one time return to Buffalo for a game with the Toronto Raptors, including a ceremony to raise Bob MacAdoo's HOF jersey to its rightful place in the city where he made a name for himself, will appease the gods and allow the Clippers to become respectable.
