11:34 PM ET  07.24 |     I know this is a sports site. But for my blog, I'm going out of sports a little. Last night, i made a trip to the movies. And on a Wednesday night, I saw The Dark Knight in a packed house. What a movie! For all you kids or teens or adults on the weekends who are in the "summer boredom" mode, if you haven't, take a trip to see this record breaking movie.

   To start, it's 2 1/2 hours of non-stop fun, action, suspense, to go along with great acting led by the late Heath Ledger. I'm a movie geek. I've seen a ton of movies, know the actors, know the lines, etc. I'll be the first to tell you, and ask anyone whose seen this movie, this is probably the greatest performance I've seen out of an actor. His voice, his body language, his chilling mind, to go along with a sense of humor that will have the audience laughing. It's weird. In a sense, you root for the Joker. You want him to win at moments.

  The movie is awesome. Every scene Ledger has is a classic one. There are surprises after surprises. A few big action scenes. Multiple villians. Go out there and see the Dark Knight. You will not be disappointed.
