04:45 PM ET 07.25 | Not to knock the Army or anything because without them a lot of us would probably not be here right now, but I think what happened to Caleb Campbell was unfortunate. I mean he would have started training camp today, but instead he must report for Iraq or Afghanistan. Don't get me wrong, he knew what he was getting into when he signed up for Army, but I do not think the Army should have changed their rule. I think the Army will get some unwanted publicity for this because of the sudden change. However, I think that this will not be Campbell's last chance to play in the NFL, Roger Staubach and David Robinson both took time away from their sport to serve, and both had wonderful careers. I really hope that he will get another chance although it might seem unlikely since he was a 7th round pick. Staubach won the Heisman and Robinson was the first pick in the draft, so they were both given the benefit of the doubt. So good luck Caleb Campbell, you're doing a wonderful thing protecting our country, and I think I speak for all of us at FanNation when I say we are proud of you. I hope you'll still get a chance to return to the NFL
