Regarding: Mets eye Blake, Ibanez, Bay

To be honest, the Yankees should have given up that extra prospect to get Bay. He is way under payed and can hurt lefties and righties. I think they got a great deal for Nady, but Bay is just a great player. There were rumors that the Yankees could end up with both Bay and Nady. That would be great, seeing as Abreu's contract expires at seasons end and the Yanks' WONT resign him, but they opted to get Marte who is a great Lefty reliever, and Nady who could have a monster season. Back to the Mets, they should get Jason Bay because he is worth the money he gets payed. I think they could not only get more runs on the board first, but they could add another franchise-type off player to their roster. Blake and Ibanez are both great players, but Ibanez isn't having a "great" season. I think Bay is the best choice for the Mets at this time because he can drive the ball to left field, and to left there isn't as much real-esate in Shea opposed to Yankee Stadium.
