Hype
Believing that Titans are a legit playoff team this year
Telling people Vince Young is a good passing QB
Ranking Vince Young in the Top 10 of QBs
Putting him on the cover of Madden


Now I will be the first to admit that Vince Young is good at scrambling and making the play with his feet in clutch moments but after that what does he bring to the table?

Young is one of the worst "passing" QBs in the NFL.
The guy misses more screen passes then any other QB in the league.
Young has now lost his #1 and #2 WR's along with his RB from last year, still people dont take it into consideration when they start making predictions, why? Because they really believe that Vince Young is some super human that can win enough games by himself to put Tennessee in the playoffs.

For fun lets compare Vince Young's "passing" numbers to other so called "bad" QB's

Vince Young - QB Rating : 66.7   TDs/Ints: 12/13    Comp Pct: 51.5    YardsPerGame: 146.6

JP Losman - QB Rating : 84.9   TDs/Ints: 19/14    Comp Pct: 62.5    YardPerGame: 190.7

Michael Vick - QB Rating : 75.7   TDs/Ints: 20/13    Comp Pct: 53.8    YardPerGame: 154.6

Eli Manning - QB Rating : 77.0   TDs/Ints: 24/18    Comp Pct: 54.1    YardPerGame: 202.8


Now some people will say but his TD/INT ratio is off because he only started 13 games. Well that may be true but all the other stats dont matter that he started only 13 games.
 
let see where Vince Young ranked among starting QBs in the AFC...

QB Rating - 15th out of 16. Only Andrew Walter finished below him
Comp Pct - 16th out of 16. Wow even Andrew Walter finished above him
Passing Yards Per Attempt - 15th out of 16. Only ahead of Andrew Walter
Passing Yards Per Game - 15th out of 16. Only ahead of Walter again..
Fumbles - 6th most out of 16.... Now this might not seem as bad but consider that Young started only 13 games and 4 out of the 5 in front of him played and started all 16 (Palmer, Brady, Losman, Carr)


Hopefully this will help cure some of you guys. But then again I cant cure everybody, I'm only human.
