Never let me sit in front of a computer on a rainy Sunday with nothing to do. The result of such a mishap will be a blog like this. I have no idea what I am going to write about as I am typing this. I need an idea. Wait...it just came to me. Devin Hester. Isn't that a lot of money for a guy that reminds me a lot of Desmond Howard?

You see, I loved Desmond Howard. The day I became a Wolverines fan is when I saw Desmond strike the Heisman pose. I live in New York City, and well considering Rutgers was some 15 years away from becoming THE program of the NY-NJ Metropolitan area, the Wolverines stole my fandom despite the fact that I was nowhere and never did step foot on the University of Michigan campus. Now, Desmond was drafted as a WR in the NFL and never panned out. He did become a Super Bowl MVP with the Packers but lets face it Larry Brown became a Super Bowl MVP thanks to some gift passes from Neil O'Donnell. It doesn't mean much as far as I am concerned.

The same goes to Hester. Great athlete. One of Deion Sanders' proteges (along with West Virginia RB Noel Devine). Also, he had a star moment in the Super Bowl against the Colts when he returned the opening kickoff but he's a guy that is nothing more then a speed guy who can return kicks. He struggled at cornerback and receiver when he was a Miami Hurricane and I refuse to see how the Bears with no quarterback can legitemately turn him into a receiver and give him starter's money to do it.

Idiocy. Stupidity. Or just random. Like this blog: WHO KNOWS.

Thanks for reading.

It was either this or blog about Bayern Munich's Lukas Podolski. I chose this and I only groupmailed it.

In two seasons, he does nearly own the all-time return touchdown record. There's definitely something to be said for that. While he might not be a great receiver or corner, he can cover both spots on the depth chart, allowing the Bears an extra player at another position, which can be key. There are some very good things about this resigning as well, not to mention the guy singlehandedly puts butts in seats (much to Thugmeister's dismay... less of a view that way).

It wouldnt be raining if you lived on the best coast Hova. 86 degrees and not a cloud in the sky in Cali as it should be in July.

California sounds good about now. I wouldn't mind a trip out West. Work has me worn out and dealing with home repairs has me beaten down.

Need a vacation.

Good point thehemogoblin but that is still a lot of money.

So bored that I just threw together a blog for the hip-hop fan group. It made sense in my head but the more I read it the more I think I am under the influence of something.

Yeah, we didn't get the storm here in the Shenandoah Valley...but they had t-storm warnings in and around the D.C. area. Guess everyone in the Northeast got the brunt of it.

It was bad out here today. It's over now though.
