As an Oriole fan, we recently made a trade between us and the Rockies that will get us over the .500 mark this season . For a one demsional second baseman in Mike McCoy who has no speed and a week bat at age 27. Anyway weve been lacking a shortstop ever since we got ride of Tejada(why we didnt get one in the trade still confuses me) since Hernandez, Fahey, Bynum, and Cintron havent worked out as planed. Now Castro isnt a household name but he will be by the end of this season. In Triple A this year he was hitting .300 and at age 36 has the experence to get it done in the majors considering hes a great fielder and given the chance he has the potential to be a solid starter something he will need to do in order for the Orioles to finish over .500

Welcome back to the show old man

The guy's 36 years old and the minors aren't nearly the same as the majors. Big skill level difference.

Nope, I saw Howard a few years back in low A ball and he was hitting a boom a day there and hes doing it in the majors so its not as big as you think
