In response to:
Will Eagles show interest in Darius?
Could the Eagles add to the roster before training camp? Andy Reid left the door open, noting that general manager Tom Heckert would "keep his eyes open for those things." On a related note, the Jaguars released veteran safety Donovin Darius on Thursday.

The Eagles can always use another good DB to add to the fold. Darius might sign on, but would problably get paid better elsewhere. Let's face it, the Eagles are not known for being big spenders unless it's someone like Kearse or Owens. However, Darius could sign with the Eagles for less if he is convinced and interested in getting paid less to play for a team that is a perennial contender.  The Eagles secondary is good, but another leader in the clubhouse and the field could only be a plus for a team that needs to get over the hump and bring the Lombardi trophy home after being so close for so long. Reid, Banner, and Co. need to pull the trigger on this one and do the deal.
