In my first blog, I'm going to look at some players who may be getting traded before the deadline this year.
OF Manny Ramirez Boston Redsox
Manny Ramirez has said that the Boston Red Sox don't deserve him and trade talks are serious. Manny has many problems, sometimes it doesn't look like he is trying his hardest. I think he will get traded.
Where will he endup?: Florida Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies
OF Gary Sheffield Detroit Tigers
Gary Sheffield has not performed well on the Tigers this year and Florida has already asked about him. Detroit would like to get rid of his lack of hitting and his $15 million contract.
Where will he endup?: Florida Marlins
SP Jarrod Washburn Seattle Mariners
If Seattle does decide to keep Washburn until the end of the season, they'll have to release him in the off-season. Mean as well get something for him while you can and the Yankees inquired.
Where will he endup?: New York Yankees
SS Orlando Cabrera Chicago White Sox
Orlando Cabrera's one year stint with the Sox will end after this year and since he is struggling, the White Sox may want to get something for him while they can. They have Juan Uribe that is a power-hitting shortstop.
Where will he endup?: Detroit Tigers
