Yes everyone I am back. And not a moment too soon with Penn State ready to go!!! So here goes (hope I'm still good at this...)

So a lot of chaos around the Valley these days...JoePa's ongoing saga, the trouble the players have found themselves in, getting kicked off the team etc...But Anthony E. has returned to put it all back in order...I hope you'll have me... :)

Season Preview for PSU

The schedule for PSU looks like it will be filled with tough primetime matchups, as well as interesting nonconference matchups. So lets have a look shall we?

Coastal Carolina- As long as we don't pull a Michigan I think we'll be ok...but it will be interesting to see the QB (whoever they decide it will be) face a defense not clad in Nittany blue... also excited to see if Evan Royster and Stephon Green can live up to hype, and these senior wideouts tear it up.

Oregon State- Well here we go. First BCS conference challenger for the year. The Beavers pose a serious threat, but hopefully a hostile Beaver Stadium crowd (hey the Beavers playing at Beaver Stadium and still being on the road?) and a combo of a confident offensive attack and a steady defensive barrage from the always steady line will hamper the Beavers, leading to credible win #1, and a national spotlight.

Syracuse- I hate that dome. Is it orange? Anyway, since facing a trio of Big East foes in 2005 the season they went to the Orange Bowl (Damn whats with all the coincidences orange, beavers?) So hopefully this Big East foe will prove another good luck charm for the Nittany Lions. Anyway the Big East isn't really expanding are they? By now the quarterback situation will rear its head, and the rush attack will most likely cement itself against a weak Orange defense.

Temple- Temple absolutely loves this annual meeting. It really brings the best out of Pennsylvania college ball. Its always a great atmosphere, but at Beaver Stadium chalk it up as a W for the real home team. This will be the final tuneup for the Big Blue Nittany Lions, and hopefully they dont get caught looking the primetime matchup for the Big Ten opener v. Illinois at 8. Focus Nittany Lions, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Nittany Lions 4-0 heading into Big Ten play.

That's the nonconference portion...stick around for the Big Ten chunk coming soon to a group near you :)
