Im sorry but the trade of manny was stupid. I cannot believe the red sox did this. Just because manny runs his mouth a little so what, we want a championship. Some of you fans may think that Jason Bay is a good trade for manny but i think it is a slap in the face to the fans that have marveled at the fact that Manny has contributed us with the best of talent and two world championships. Now Joe Torre gets to revel in the success of the greatest left feilder in the game. I am not happy about this at all. Manny should have finished his career with the team that he more than helped get us out of the whole babe ruth curse 86 year epidemic. Now the great duo of manny and ortiz is gone. Who are the red sox gonna get rid of next? Well whomever gets an ego so hopefully it wont be the other greats in red sox uniform. Nomar ran his mouth, traded. Pedro ran his mouth, traded, now manny runs his mout, traded..Who is gonna be next?

I'm a sox fan and a dodger fan, but I think Manny wore out his welcome. I'm thrilled the dodgers may a major trade, but I would rather have gotten Jason Bay. I think if you give him a chance he may show you that he is a very good player and pretty close to Manny's level.
