*Sniffles* I can't believe it, on the third day of training camp, they hurt themselves.
Gruden says,"I think it's universal around camp," he said. "If you went to everybody's training camp practice you're going to see eight or nine key players that might leave practice or might not practice. That's football. You've got to be able to adjust and you've got to be able to trust your training staff, okay, and do what you think is right for the players, because they're the ones that you've got to have to win with on Sunday.
"At this point in time I can say honestly that I don't believe we have one serious injury to talk about other than Torrie Cox. So that so far has been very, very good here the first week in Orlando."
I can see why he can do this. They have tons of back-ups, (duh!). We still have our runningbacks, all healthy and well, and I can see why Gruden feels so comfortable about it. Or maybe he is trying to just comfort himself. Either one. But this still a bad deal to have. You don't want your star quarterback that brought you to the play-offs falling down on the job because of a work out.
