Right before the tread deadline, the Boston Red Sox officially traded Manny Ramirez to the Los Angels Dodgers after trade rumors fell through with the Boston Red Sox.
It was a three-way deal consitenting the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dodgers get Manny Ramirez
Pirates get four prospects
The Red Sox got rid of a huge locker room problem and traded him and got in return a former All-Star who is just a step below Manny Ramirez talent wise. Great trade for the Red Sox, the Dodgers? Not so much. They traded some of their best prospects including Andy LaRoche.
Say good-bye Red Sox fans, you "didn't deserve" Manny anyway.
