  Scotty Bowman joined his son in Chicago, and, although he won't be coaching, his eye for talent and detail surely move the 'Hawks up if not this year, in the near future. With Scotty's midas touch I'm seeing lineup changes before the start of the season.

Great coach. But you must admit he has inherited some star-studded teams. 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins, '97-'98 Detroit Red Wings. In the early '90's, the Lightning offered his a ton of money to coach. But he wouldn't touch that trainwreck with a ten foot fork. The jury still is out whether he can tell the difference from a stud and a dud.
