We at GBOAHOOPS caught up with New Heights 17 standout point guard Matt Grossbard, to see what's been going on in NYC and what New Heights has in store for the rest of the summer.
"What's up everybody, this is Matt Grossbard class of 2009 point guard for New Heights NYC 17's team. I just got back from a busy week. New Heights went to Orlando for the super showcase where we lost in the playoffs of the bronze bracket. After that I went to Eastern for the Elite Camp. I played well overall but ended the week really good by scoring 14 in the championship game and most importantly winning. I and my teammates are looking forward to finishing off the summer on a winning note with the tournaments we have left to play in. Until then I'll just be working out and practicing with New Heights getting ready to compete. Hope every one is doing good and ill talk to you guys later."
GBOAHOOPS is looking forward to seeing Matt and the New Heights program continue their winning ways and wish them good luck in their upcoming high school basketball season. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Matt and will expect to see him donning a college jersey in the 2009 - 2010 season.
