Even though I'm a die-hard Detroit RedWings fan (pro. hockey for those of you who don't know), I also love the Packers!  I'm from Wisconsin, so it's only natural to love them.

But, since this whole Brett Favre v. Packers saga has started I've been wanting it to end.  No one is going to come out of this looking like they did before it started.  The organization is in a "no win" situation.  If they take Favre back they'll tick off Aaron Rodgers.  If they release him, he could likely go to one of our rivals...dare I say it...the Vikings!

I was divided, in the beginning.  I could see both sides of this whole mess.  Now - it's just making everyone look bad.  To some, Favre looks like a baby and to others the Packers organization looks bad.

I think it's everyone's best interest to end this thing!!

Ted Thompson should be bought out and go away. Brett come on back and do what you love. NFL football and all pro sports are entertainment. The fans rule and as a fan I'd like to keep watching Brett play like a kid and throw caution to the wind. There is a huge difference between the Pats trying to cheat and an aging player with gas still in the tank wanting to keep playing. Hey Brett...what would Big Erv want you to do? Play the game, Brett. All those Hall of Fame inductees know in their heart of hearts if they had the chance to get back out there are crank it up, they would. If Vinne could get back out there in his 40's, you certainly can help some team out. The Packer organization is being ridiculous and I am really quite embarrassed for them. If Ron Wolf was still there, this would not be an issue. Thompson pack your stinking bags....PLEASE.

Ted Thompson is handling this whole difficult situation beautifully. All of Favre's complaints (trade for Moss, hire Mariucci as coach, etc.) show that he believes himself to be the GM. ...can't let the inmates run the assylum. Brett's wanted to go to Minnesota from the start. I hope Thompson doesn't let that happen, just because the space/time continuum would fly apart, but no matter how you look at it, Brett made his own bed.
