  This is a list I compiled containing five head coaches who I think will need a winning season and a bowl game to save their job. The order these coaches are in is based on how certain I am that they will need a winning season. Here's the list:
5. Joe Glenn, Wyoming - Glenn's tenure as Cowboys head coach seemed to start off good, leading Wyoming to their first bowl since 1993 in his second year. Their record after that 7-5 season has been a dismal 15-20. Glenn didn't help himself with his job security when he flipped Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham the bird when Whittingham called for an onside kick even though the Utes were leading 43-0(I fell that the bird was deserved). Glenn has 8 starters on offense and 6 starters on defense returning, but their toughest games in the Mountain West are away. I think it is possible that Wyoming achieves a winning season this year.
4. Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt - Johnson has done what I felt is a great job for anyone coaching the Commodores, but he has been at Vanderbilt for six years and has yet to become bowl eligible. The Commodores need a bowl game bad, and I think that this could be Johnson's last year as head coach if they don't go 6-6. Don't hold your breath Vandy fans, I predict the Commodores to go 3-9, resulting in Bobby Johnson being fired.
3. Greg Robinson, Syracuse - I was surprised to find in 2004 that Syracuse fired longtime Head Coach Paul Pasqualoni after a 6-6 season. Robinson has struggled in the three years he has been at Syracuse, posting an ugly 7-28 record. This is Robinson's fourth year as head coach, so he has all of his recruits besides some redshirt seniors from Pasqualoni's last year(I don't know if there are any). This is Robinson's last chance, but I think Syracuse will struggle and will be lucky to win ONE conference game. That means Robinson will be shown the door.
2. Tyrone Willingham, Washington - Many people would probably put Willingham first, but I think my pick for #1 will without a doubt be gone without a winning season. I feel sorry for Willingham for many reasons. The main reason is that he put together the team that Charlie Weis had in his first year, but all the credit went to Weis. I also feel sorry because I think the Huskies have good teams but it's just one of those situations where they are in too tough of a conference to compete. Many say that Washington has the toughest schedule in the nation(Wrong, Georgia easliy does), which makes a winning season that much difficult. If Washington pulls off some upsets and gets bowl eligible, Willingham should get a long extension.
1. Mike Stoops, Arizona - The Wildcats haven't been to a bowl game in ten years and Stoops is now in his fifth year as head coach. Stoops has done a decent job here at 17-29, even having a 6-6 record two years ago. The Wildcats narrowly missed being bowl eligible last year, finishing 5-7. I was surprised to see that Stoops was not fired last year, but without a doubt will be if the team does not improve. I think that the Wildcats will flirt with bowl eligibility this year, but I'm not convinced that they will finish 6-6 or better.

I actually would have put Bobby Johnson first. But, great blog. I think that Mike Stoops and Ty Willingham are at least tied...they're both in tough positions and are probably both going to get fired..both can do some stuff to make up for it but I just don't see it happening.
