I believe that the Jets will be able to turn things around this year and make the playoffs.  They will most likely make it as wild card team and probably barely making it in (having to rely on certain scenerios such as having a certain team lose) however all you have to do is make it there ex. Giants.  The Jets were able to make big moves in offseason by both adding and getting rid of certain players to make them a much improved team.  Many people including myself were shocked when the Jets traded Jon Vilma but it was the right move.  They were able to trade a player who was not good in Manginis 3-4 defense and was coming off a knee injury that sidelined him for most of the season.  Who knows if he can return to the player he used to be.  David Harris is his replacement and already he has what it takes to be a great player and also showed he can be a leader.  The Jets were also able to improve their defense by adding players such as Kris Jenkins, Calvin Pace, and 1st round draft pick Vernon Gholston.  These guys will all fit nicely into Manginis defense and greatly improve their pass rush which was horrific last season.  Also the Jets were able to improve the offense by bringing in two offensive linemen (Alan Faneca and Damion Woody).  Now they have arguably one of the best o-lines in the NFL which will improve the rushing attack and passing attack.  For these reason is why I believe that the New York Jets will be playing playoff football this upcoming season.

DanTheMan I know they still dont know who the QB is yet, however whoever it is should be able to put up similar numbers to the 2006 season in which they made the playoffs due to the revamped o-line
