TT's big ego is the problem here not Brett Favre's. The only reason why this Rodgers vs. Favre thing is an issue because of TT's ego. He wants control over this franchise not Brett Favre. He has made that clear because he has wanted him out for 3 1/2 years. Since TT got an extension in  the offseaon he feels as though he should have control not Favre. TT do you know why u got an extension? Because Favre led the team to the NFC championship game. Now make no mistake about it TT has put talent all over the field and has done a good job i will give him that. But he is being a complete moron in this situation. This should only be about 1 issue. It needs to be about WINNING. And who gives the team the best chance to win obviously Brett Favre does. Consider this before he got there the PAckers sucked in the 70s 80s and early 90s. Since Favre has been the packers qb they have the best winning precentage than any other team.  This should not be about fairness. Life is not fair deal with and the Packers owe Rodgers nothing. Its about winning. This is a win now league in the nfl not a future league. Especially since they have litte compettion in the NFC. There biggest compettion is a team that has not won a playoff game in 12 years and have players like Tony Romeo and T.eam O.bliterator that don't perform in the clutch.  The Packers have a real chance this year with Favre and thats what it comes down to. Now this does not mean that eventually Roders can't be good because i think he can  bebut last night in the scrimmage not under nearly as much pressure as he would be in a regular season game and without Harris and Woodson in the game and he sucked bad. But in the end this probally will work out the way it should with Brett Favre being the starting QB. But it would have happend so much easier and without so much less media bashing of TT if TT would have let go of his ego and let Favre start from the beginning

I defnitely disagree. Favre is the attention-hormonger.

Thompson has a big ego and Brett Favre doesn't? Thompson wants control over the franchise, hello... he's the GM he has control over the team, not Favre. Brett is just another employee, not in a postion to make personnel decisions. This whole saga is Brett's fault as he just can'tmake up his mind. That should tell you right there that he shouldn't be making personnel decisions.

I completely disagree. Brett Favre is the one who's mad because he thinks people aren't that excited to have him back..please. Brett you retired you knew the Packers would move on..you'd be an idiot if you didn't think otherwise. The Packers were preparing for a season with Aaron Rodgers...and then right as preparing for a new season began he all of a sudden got excited for a new season..Brett is holding on a bit too long. He knows that he can still play..but just because you can do something doesn't always mean it's the right move.

Favre is a drama queen. For three years now he has strung this organization along. First he was going to retire after his wife was diagnosed with cancer only to change his mind. A couple of years ago he cried after the Packers last game implying that it was over only to change his mind. This year he has changed his mind yet again. I wonder what everyone's reaction would be if say T.O were causing this kind of drama.

Good point captainO.... If this was anyone but Favre or maybe P. Manning or T. Brady, this would be a completly different story.
