North Carolina just defeated the powerful Rice Owls for the second straight game to clinch a spot in the CWS final for the second straight year. So, again, the final three-game-series will be between Oregon State and North Carolina. This is the first time since 1973 there has been a repeat national championship rematch, since USC and Arizona State met up in 1972 and 1973.
North Carolina (4-1) vs. Oregon State (3-0)
This is a very difficult series to predict. The Oregon State Beavers are looking for their second straight CWS championship. They breezed through Bracket Two, defeating Cal State Fullerton, Arizona State, and UC Irvine. North Carolina is on fire, defeating Mississippi State, then losing to Rice. But then they defeated Louisville and then Rice twice. I have to give Oregon State the edge in this series, due to their experience and their drive to repeat. There you go, Oregon State to repeat as national champs in 3 games.
