Packers QB Brett Favre goes to the bathroom.

Well, I'm obviously kidding. But I wouldn't be surprised if they have Chris Mortenson reporting outside Favre's bathroom. But point be told, ESPN is in love with this. I hardly watch SportsCenter anymore, and even ESPNNEWS, has gotten a bit old with this. Even the Yanks and Red Sox highlights are coming on 20 minutes during the episode!
I watch SportsCenter to get highlights, scores, see the experts talk baseball/football/etc. I don't watch it to see what Brett Favre ate for breakfast, or which plane he took to Green Bay. I don't watch it for the soap opera saga bewtween Favre, Rodgers, Goodell, the Packers, the Packers faithful, and Mark Murphy. I bet myself sometimes. When I'm about to flip on ESPN or ESPNNEWS, I tell myself they will be talking about number 4. And sure enough, there's a reporter talking, video clips for Green Bays training camp, or the Packers fans speaking their minds.
This has gotten to the point to T.O./Eagles saga a few years ago, and may have even exceeded that. So the memo to ESPN: Show what most of us want to see. Highlights, scores, chats, little documentarys, and predictions. Don't show us the soap opera that's gotten old after the first week.
