The Brett Favre thing has spun way out of control and once in a while we need to sit back and have a little laugh. By the way, Madden Football was released in 1988 for the 1989 season. Brett Favre has been in all but two of the Madden Games. *hint hint- stop playing.

BREAKING NEWS OUT OF GREEN BAY:

Sources from Green Bay have confirmed that Brett Favre is suffering from a variety of sleep disorders including night terrors and sleepwalking. Reports suggest that these night terrors have something to do with the fact that Aaron Rodgers might be taking the QB job. It has also been reported that Favre sleepwalks to the stadium at night to practice throwing balls.

Sources inside the Packers organization say that Favre has been up to no good at night and that his sleepwalking and night terrors may become a more serious problem. Packers officials say that the great amounts of Nyquil that they feed to Brett each night hasn't helped.

Reporters first learned of this story on Monday night, despite the fact that Mike McCarthy's press conference was cancelled. Neither Brett or his wife Deanna were available for comment.

ESPN has told Ed Werder to pack his bags and that for the first time in his career he will be reporting from somewhere other than Dallas. They will have Werder and Wendi Nix up in Green Bay to get to the bottom of this story. ESPN has also confirmed that they will be posting updates on the bottom line every 5 minutes and that they will have a 2 hour special on tomorrow starting at 12pm ET.

Maybe by then Favre will be available to address what is going on at night in Green Bay.
