I'll tell you why I picked Tex and not Vlad. Vlad was 2-5 with 2 RBIs. However, he left 5 guys on base, didn't walk, and had one less runs.

Adam Jones was placed on the 15 day DL with a broken bone in his left foot.

Orioles call up Luis Montanez from AA Bowie to fill Jones' spot. Montanez was batting .316 in AA Bowie this year with 23 homeruns, 84 RBI, and 30 doubles. Montanez is 26 and currently plays the outfield. However, back in 2000-2002, his primary position was SS. They then slowly transferred him to 2B in 2003, then to the outfield in 2004.
