I think I'd put Welker higher.

August 6, 2008  03:03 PM ET

Marques Colston should be higher than Smith. Colston is the main target for a pro bowl QB. Smith has a walking injury throwing him the ball.

August 6, 2008  03:04 PM ET

And Laurence Maroney higher than Brees?

August 6, 2008  03:10 PM ET

Reggie Bush is way too high.

I hate the guy, and he can't come through in the clutch, but how is Romo not in the top 20

August 6, 2008  03:16 PM ET

Big Ben not in the top 30?

August 6, 2008  03:21 PM ET

I think Welker should be a tad higher. I think Romo should be top 20 as well.
The rest, myeh, I don't really disagree with.

August 6, 2008  03:21 PM ET

I agree with Confucius..., I think Colston should be ranked higher than Smith. Delhomme's coming off injury after injury and won't be as effective..., Smith's a great player but I think Colston's got a better situation in NO. Colston's the no. 1 guy now in NO and in Carolina..., Smith's got competition from Muhammad and Hackett coming in.

August 6, 2008  03:41 PM ET

I think that, in general, given so many RB committees out there, that there is more vale at WR in rounds 2 and 3 than at RB. I would have all your WR's down through Colston ranked higher.

August 6, 2008  07:19 PM ET

I don't mind Bush where he is. Call me crazy but I think he has upside.
My main critique is the same one I left on your previous blog. I think you have the top QBs undervalued in general.

August 6, 2008  08:49 PM ET

Why isn't Drew Brees higher? After a sluggish start, he was great and was awarded with a cream puff pass defence schedule. I think he will finish higher than Romo and maybe even tie Peyton Manning this year.

I think I'd put Welker higher.

Cant do it. Moss and Maroney get most of the TDs.

Confucius is Darth Vader | 08/06/08, 03:03 PM

Yes, he is the main target, but until Duece comes back healthy enough to let the Saints have some semblence of a running threat, defenses will double Colston to death.

August 9, 2008  09:48 PM ET

And Laurence Maroney higher than Brees?
Confucius is Darth Vader | 08/06/08, 03:04 PM

After a 50 touchdown year, defenses are looking for the Pats to continue to be pass-heavy and I think Belicheat is going to call much more draw plays this year, especially in the red zone.

I have Bush ranked lower than a lot of WRs. That is an insult to a starting fantasy running back.

Big Ben not in the top 30?
Confucius is Darth Vader | 08/06/08, 03:16 PM

Ben had his career year last year: 32 TDs and only 11 picks. Those numbers are bound to drop given the Steelers have the toughest schedule in the NFL this season.

With a legit dual threat at RB this year, I think Romo's numbers will slightly fall off from last year's 13-3 season.

Steve Smith is still second to none in yards after the catch(YAC)
