UFC® 73: STACKED

UFC 73: Stacked should be bought by any fan or non fan. I am only saying this because on paper this is the best UFC in 14 years. Anybody that is against MMA should watch this because the card is truly stacked. Any boxing fan that is willing to throwdown $40-$50 dollars on their three matches should be willing to throwdown $40 dollars on a card that has 5 great televised fights andit even has good preliminary fights that have the possiblity of being shown. None of the fights on the main card are unbalanced and favor either fighter.

My winners in bold

Champion Anderson "Spider"  Silva vs. Nate "The Great" Marquardt (for middleweight title)

Anderson Silva: Silva is currently 18-4 in MMA with a 3-0 record in the UFC. The other organizations he has fought in were Pride and Cage Rage. He holds notable wins over Jeremy Horn, Carlos Newton, Chris Leben(of Ultimate Fighter Fame) and Rich Frankilin who was the UFC poster boy until his face got messed up by some Muy Thai by Silva. He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsiu by Antonio Noguera. His BJJ skills were shown when he beat Travis Lutter at UFC 67. Lutter is a very good practicioner of BJJ.

Nate Marquardt: Marquardt is currently 25-6-2 in MMA with a 4-0 record in the UFC. He has mainly fought in Pancrase for his entire career. He is a seven time champion there, something no one else has accomplished. He holds notable wins over Yves Edwards, Shonnie Carter, Ivan Salverry, and grappling expert Dean Lister. He currently trains with Greg Jackson in New Mexico and all of Greg Jacksons' fighters come to the octagon with great game plans.

Perhaps the hardest striker in the UFC, Anderson Silva, fresh off his upset of then champion Rich Franklin, will win this fight. Nate Marquardt is a seven time champion of Pancrease, but Silva owns a valuable BJJ black belt. If it stays standing Silva wins without a doubt. If it goes to the ground I still see Silva winning.

Champion "The Muscle Shark " Sean Sherk vs. Hermes Franca (for lightweight title)

I see Sean Shrek winning a very close decision in this match. Shean Sherk has excellent wrestling skills, while Hermes Franca has awesome BJJ.

"Sugar" Rashad Evans vs. "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz

Tito Ortiz's experience and wrestling will win him a 2nd round TKO.

"The Texas Crazy Horse" Heath Herring vs. Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro"  Noguera

Heath Herring is being fed to the lions here. Nogueria may be one of the best BJJ practicioners in the world. Nogueira by Submission in the 2nd round.

Kenny "KenFlo" Florian vs. Alvin "Kid" Robinson

I don't know anything about Robinson so I'm going to say KenFlo in the 3rd Round by Submission.

UFC 73 Stacked is live from the Arco Arena in Sacromento, California Saturday July 7th only on Pay per View.
