Billy Farris traveled from Baton Rouge to make the CSU football team, where he is reportedly slated to start for the Rams when they take on big brother Colorado at sterile Invesco Field yet LSU found its' opening game starter via Provo, Utah and Harvard?
How many Ivy button-ups can ball in the SEC?
Those in charge in Baton Rouge think Andrew Hatch is one who can.
Farris may not have been good enough for his hometown Tigers but Hatch is, at least for now, at least until the latest ballyhooed quarterback on campus, Jarret Lee, is ready to take command. Of course, Ryan "Such a Bust" Perilloux once was supposed to make the LSU offense his and Tiger Stadium his kingdom and we all saw how that worked out.
So back to Farris Wheel, Farris Bueller, Farris who? This is where CU can exploit the Rams and where CSU can lose the game early if the running game isn't working. If feeding Kyle Bell proves ineffective in moving the chains and creating points, the Rams could be in trouble early.
The feeling here is that new coach Steve Fairchild, maybe, even at his advanced age the best quarterback on the roster, will have CSU motivated, prepared and game, at least for a while, and his boys will move the football but in the end, Farris, even if only moderately rushed and picking on inexperienced Buffs in the secondary, is bound to make some throwing mistakes and the Rams will unravel.
LSU, meanwhile, could win with Hatch just as it did with guys like Mauck and Flynn, hardly the possessors of talent such as the like of Jamarcus Russell.

you must not know much about football. Farris could have gone to LSU however with all of the qB;s at that time including Russell, he made a decision to leave. Harvard? do we really need that here? keep your eyes open for Billy "the cannon" Farris. Why criticize, you must be a small weak man.
