Regardless of the animosity between Colorado and Colorado State fans and their insistence on their schools superiority over the other, there is no superior team in this matchup in 2008. The game will be two pigs slopping around together.
The Buffs believe their talent will allow for a frat party, alcohol-fueled romp but CU isn't quite that bold with elite personnel yet. The fans are selling it but the scoreboard ain't buying it. The Rams, on the other hand, believe the Buffs are their normal fat-head, over-rated selves who can be "had." That's not exactly true either as CU is indeed building a solid foundation for success. If the Rams aren't careful in coming years, they're soon going to be that kid who gets rolled everyday on his way to school.
So come game time 2008, look for a scene where two babies are still trying to learn how to walk. One will just do it sooner and better and that team, and it says here, it will be the Buffs, will win. T
The pick is CU by 17 but only after pulling away by going large in the fourth quarter, with the Rams being as young and sloppy as the Buffs are good. The final score won't say much about either team. The next test each program has will be more indicative of what each school has in '08.
