There IS NO fantasy impact from this trade. None. Anyone drafting Favre himself in their fantasy league is nuts and expecting the Jets receivers to suddenly get good as a result of this trade is equally nuts.

Look. The man has had NO off season minicamps, OTA's, or conditioning programs. He's done NOTHING football related in more than 7 months. He is now going to have to get into football shape AND learn an entirely new offense AND develop some sort of chemistry with new coaches, team mates, etc all within 3 weeks.

Not.Gonna.Happen. This isn't sandlot football, here. Not even the "great" Brett Favre can overcome what he's going to face in the next month and be expected to make an actual impact any time soon.

C-C-C, I disagree. The mention of Thomas Jones in the article is particularly interesting. With the Jets acquiring Alan Faneca in the off-season and now getting a deep threat QB who will make for some "six in the box" defensive sets, I think Jones could have a big season. If he doesn't have to split his carries too much, he could have a good fantasy season.
