On day 15 the Steelers held a closed morning practice, and an open one in the afternoon at 2:55.  Just as the players began to stretch they all sang together "We need a movie day". However, that is not the story of this training camp.

New signee Byron Leftwich joined the team for his first practice yesterday, and looked very comfortable for being there one day.  Leftwich participated in 7 on 7 drills, as well as 11 on 11 drills.  He also did extra work throwing to Steeler receivers whenever he had some free time which is encouraging to Steeler fans, because it shows he is willing to work and put in the effort.

Rain appeared to affect Santonio Holmes and TE Matt Spaeth today, they dropped a few surefire catches.  Ben Roethlisberger had the number 16 taped on the side of his helmet to honor Batch who will miss the entire season with a broken collarbone.  That is all the news from day 15, more updates to come.
