Basically the way of the warrior is a simple set of guidelines to ensure that you as a member have a good time on fannation without ruining anybody elses's good time and giving the warriors a bad name. If you are a member of the Throwdown Warriors you should strive to adhere to these guidelines. If any members have anything else they think I should add, just let me know and we'll go from there.
1) Throwdown Warriors are honorable and fair. We do not cheat at throwdowns or other games. In the case of throwdowns, creating multiple accounts to vote for yourself or sending fanmails begging for votes is cheating. Remember, this is just for fun and what fun is it to win if you have to cheat? Plus, why cheat to begin with? Having a good throwdown record is nice but in the end it doesn't really matter.
2) Throwdown Warriors are mature and disciplined. True warriors do not engage in immature online "fights". Leaving hostile or vulgar comments is just sad and once again what does it give you? Wow, you really insulted him, big whoop. Be constructive or humorous in you comments and throwdowns and take the high ground. Remember this is all for fun and if we are arguing like children then it isn't any fun.
3) Throwdown Warriors are not whiners. During the course of tournaments or leagues you may get stuck with a bad topic to defend. Deal with it. In the end other fannation members will respect you for doing your best. Nobody wants to hear somebody whine about there opponent either or why votes are going a certain way. Nothing is as annoying as being accused of cheating just because you are losing a throwdown and you believe the score is just to lopsided. Face it, people cheat. If you have proof that they are cheating, post it and tell a moderator and they will handle it. Don't repeatedly post comments saying you think they are cheating or whining about your throwdown. It makes you look petty and remember in the end this is just for fun. Why do it if you're not having fun.
4) Throwdown Warriors are active. I expect warriors to actively participate by blogging, participating in throwdown leagues or tourneys, or participating in fantasy leagues and such. If the league isn't active why be in it?
