Aparrently if we listen to Hank Steinbrenner the Yankees are done this year and are looking ahead to next year. Its fair to say he is probally right although anything can happen. He also said he would to whatever it takes to get the Yankees back on top where they belong. This plan reveals what there team should look like next year and this team I believe would get my favorite team assuming most people stay healthy.

This is what the 25 man roster should look like. There payroll this year is $209,081,577. There payroll next year with this team and contracts would be $214,272,964 which is not a big jump at all with this team especially if they don't make the playoffs. What do u guys think of this?

not a bad rotation, not bad at all. Hughes is the question mark. And do pick up Mark Ellis, that guy is as clutch as they come, in the field and at the bat. Take that guy in a heart beat. I could see that rotation pushing each other to do well, and if Mussina stays thats okay too.

Not bad, but it's only on paper, and no-one is still intimidated by the yankees, except maybe the umpires

ALL THOSE WISH LISTS YOU NYLOSER FANS PROPOSE IS REALLY INTERESTING....WHY DON'T YOU PUT SOME BALLPLAYERS ON THAT LIST...NOT MEDIA PRIMADONNAS. ( SEE TAMPA RAYS AS MODEL) MONEY ALONE DOES NOT HACK IT. HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED THAT YET

AND THE MEDIA!!
Why don't the Yankees try raising some of their own players and quit buying up the players other team develop. It's time that baseball has a salary cap to keep the BIG egos in NY from trying to buy a pennant.
