I can't find enough words to describe what I just saw. No joke. In one hour, I saw two of the greatest feats in Olympic history.

Nice blog. I got back from work to see Phelps, but I missed Bolt. I really wanted to see him.

D@mn, DJ, you've improved quite a bit!

Very nice DJ.Bolt has really come out of nowhere hasn't he?I mean, he was only considered a favorite for a few months.Powell on the other hand has been talked about as a favorite for years now. It's crazy. As for Phelps, it's beyond words.Just remember so you can tell your grandchildren.

Bolt makes Powell look like a limping hobo.

Great blog, DJ. I haven't read any of your blogs in awhile and Cooz is right. You really have improved quite a bit with your writing. I, too, watched both of these events. I, too, was ashamed of NBC's coverage of the track and field events. But was I the only one who was disappointed to not see Usain Bolt go as hard as he could all the way to the finish? I really was fascinated with how badly he COULD have broken that record by. Oh well, it seems like we'll never know...

I watched both of these events also, and they really did something outstanding. It was a VERY memorable night in the history of the Olympics.
