Today was not a very busy day in Beijing and the only major things happening was the start of track and field, some volleyball, and Phelps winning gold medal number 6 for the 2008 Olympics.
It all started with a narrow comeback victory in womens volleyball over the number 13 ranked team in the world after the number 2 seed United States team got off to a shaky strat. But with the blocks numberting up the womens USA team boiled back to win in straight sets.
Then it was Phelps time. In the 200IM his main other threat was Ryan Lochte of the United States who was seeded second in the race. But becuase of stressing to win the gold in the 200Back earlier he dropped down to third but Phelps was nothing of short, also breaking the wrold record in the event.
Track and field started and tommorow proves the fastest man on earth and Phelps biggest individual hurdle on his way to histroy.
