The closer position in baseball will take on new meaning in 10 years and here is why: Fransisco Rodriguez, K-Rod for short, is 26 years old. He already has 193 saves in his career. He has 47 already this year and is on pace for 60+ saves. Huston Street, 25, he has 94 saves in his career. Although he is slumping now, he has been good overall in his career. Jonathan Papelbon is 28, he already has 104 saves. What has come upon us is a new breed of young closers who will raise the bar.

Football season is coming around and I just have to say one thing about it. Hell yeah! I am a hell-raising, terp-maniac, football-freak, Ravens-lover who can't wait for football season to start.

Michael Phelps. That is all I have to say. Hearts stopped, the world got silent, and the world stopped turning when I said that. Michael Phelps. Harmony has been brought to the world, that is his power. Who is he? How can you possibly do that? Thoughts run through your mind: Is he clean? In is seventh gold medal, did he really win?... All we know is that he is the most dominating Olympian ever.

K-Rod is unbelievable. Phelps is clean. I don't think that he would be eating 10,000 calories a day if he wasn't. But then I don't know much about steroids. He's clean, though.

Where's a blog about what you think of John Harbaugh? I haven't heard any Ravens fans talking about him. That story kinda got overlooked for some reason, probably due to Brett Favre stealing the spotlight. I'd like to hear what a Ravens fan thinks about it.

They better get into alot of WS games because otherwise they will not touch what Mariano has alrady done. New bread? They are walking in a great closers shadow and are going to need to do something more to differentiate themselves.
