On Day 4 there was action in archery, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, handball, field hockey, rowing, sailing, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, and water polo. There were medal rounds in canoeing/kayaking, diving, equestrian, fencing, gymnastics, judo, shooting, swimming, weightlifting, and wrestling.
