1. New England Patriots - By far the class of the AFC East, however, questions do still remain - will the open tryouts approach at cornerback work? Has the offensive line recovered their confidence after the Super Bowl man-handling? A soft regular season schedule will have the Patriots atop the AFC all season, however look for another AFC team to be crowned conference champs this season.

2. New York Jets - The Jets had a very busy off-season with the additions of Alan Faneca, Kris Jenkins, Calvin Pace and now Brett Favre. They still aren’t ready to compete for the AFC East title, but will be in the playoff hunt as a wild card. Favre will quickly realize the Jets receiving corps is not as talented as the Packers wideouts.

3. Buffalo Bills - The JP Losman era appears to finally be over with Trent Edwards taking over the number one QB spot to start the season. Still not sold on Edwards, and although the Bills have a few playmakers, there just is not enough talent on offense. The defense should once again be solid. This is an 8-8 team at best.

4. Miami Dolphins - Josh McCown? John Beck? Chad Henne? Chad Pennington? The uncertainty at QB pretty much sums up the Dolphins as a whole. Nowhere to go but up from a 1-15 season in 2007, however do not look for improvement beyond 4-6 total wins.

1. Patriots
2.Bills
3. Dolphins
4. Jets

The Cheatriots may still be the best but they aren't the 'class' of anything. And their sweet little ride is heading for a canyon!

The Bills and Dolphins will both be much better than expectations.

The Jets may have Farve but they're still the Jets! Farve had a fluke season last year with a team he was familiar with, he will have a 'puke' season this year with a team that is new to him.

The only reason Favre had a "fluke" season was because the GB organization hired a trainer to work with Favre in the off season. The result was the playoffs....Brett has gone back to his old habits and lazy ways. Reports of his arm being sore aren't just out there for nothing.
