Thanks to PackersLP21 for these statistics....

"The Big XII Conference" = 182 members (not active)

"SEC Fan Group" = 223 members (not active)

"The ACC" = 20 members (not acitve)

"Big East Sports Fans" = 21 members (not active)

"The Southeastern Conference" = 14 members (not active).

Well I must agree with Prove It here....numbers do matter. These statistics are overly bleak when it comes to conference fan groups with some being utterly disgusting such as the bawdy SEC fan group. For the winners of two straight championships, you'd think people would support that conference, unlike our group which thank's to Prove It and Buckeye Girl's Ohio State Buckeyes have lost two straight title games, but still has 87 members, which is good for third on that list, but we are definitly the most active group. Heck we have at least a blog a week, which is more than some groups have in a month...

When I first created this group on December 5th, 2007, I was extremely worried that I started the group towards Bowl Season obviously, and I thought I would have a hard time getting the group active. But I sent out as many invites as possible, and it turns out that I sent them to people willing to help me get the group not only active, but provide a fun atmosphere for all Big Ten Football fans...a safe haven for Badgerfan's Badgers, My Nittany Lions, Prove It's Buckeyes, Super Squirrel's Gophers, Steve-o's Fighting Illini, Hawkeye's Iowa Hawkeyes, LarryFitzfan's Spartans, etc.  So to all 87 of our members, I as the commissioner say to you...

Toast! Raise your glasses to the most active group of Big Ten fans, and their insightfull blogging skills, as well as their award winning Locker Talk, and a special tribute to

Prove It- The resident statician

Badgerfan- My right hand man, and the man with the scoop (True Big Ten Stories)

Super Squirrel- Despite his team's ineptness to win a game, he still shows his face around :) haha.

And to all of you! Let's keep the Big Ten tradition strong!

Because in the end, you know we have the best rivalries, best defenses, and some of the best coaches in the game...and heck even we have some good 40 yard dash times!
