After a night were China was held at par, the USA zoomed off with 9 total medals in BMX'ng, volleyball and track and the United States swept the mens 400 meter with a diving finish to grab the bronze and also came in 2-3 in the mens 110m hurdles as well.
In BMX'ing, which got some primetime spotlight and only being in the Olympics for the first time, started all French as they went 1-2 in the womens event as the United States took bronze. But the USA mens followed up with a 2-3 finish to win the BMX medal count.
Also the United States won both beach volleyball golds winning the mens title last night to follow up the womens just two nights ago as well. Now volleyball will turn to the indoor stage where both the mens and womens teams are still in the mix for gold.
Tonihgts show will include more diving, where China should go 8 for 8 in the gold medals in that, indoor volleyball and some track and field.
