12:58 PM ET 08.22 | Yes, Jordan Steffy has been picked over Chris Turner as the starting QB at Maryland for the 2008 season. Jordan Steffy went down after 4 games as the QB with the Terps when he was injured against Rutgers. He went 2-2. Chris Turner went 4-5, but did lead the Terps to upsets over top 10 ranked Rutgers, and #2 Boston College. Although I don't trust either, I would want Chris Turner over Jordan Steffy because Chris Turner had lead the Terps to some games that could go either way, when Steffy's two wins came against Villanova and Florida International. Now with the new "pass oriented" offense with the loss of Lance Ball and Keon Laddimore. So we will be passing more and using Darius Heyward-Bey more often. It is very good that Chris Turner didn't transfer or quit because he proved very good. I would expect good things from the Terps this season anyways. So it won't matter much. But I'd want Chris Turner over Jordan Steffy.
