Am I the ony one that thinks that most of the announcers that cover sports are full of crap. Most of them have probably never played at the level they cover. What makes them experts? where do they come up with the questions for example, an athelete just lost the gold medal that they were favored to win and gets a stupid question thrown in their face like how does it make you feel not to win....are you kidding. Everyone is on pins and needles waiting for their answer I am sure.
A few years ago ESPN had the best announcers in College football with Ron Franklin, Mike Gottfried and Dr Jerry Punch. I loved Saturday Night Prime Time on ESPN because those guys were class and knowledable. They did not fill the air with dumb comments about I wonder what's going through quarterback's mind after throwing an interception.
that dude that covers Notre Dame Football for NBC (Tom what's his name) is covering the running events at the olympics. I think he would choke down some of Usain Bolt's man gravy. He is so amazed with that dude...

I think that Lee Corso is very overrated, he hasn't predicted a national championship games correctly since 2001 aside from the 2004 game in which everyone knew who was gonna win.
And I'm talking about the actual game after the teams are in, not who will make it at the begining of the season.
