Hey guys, and welcome back to the NBA Chat club. How's it been going? Anyhow, before I start my blog, I have a few announcements to make.

First off, a shoutout to all the guys who helped me blog, so I give it out to J. Hova, Hllywd, G.O.A.T, and Yoda. Also, I'm thanking Joe Dew for helping out with my blogs. ]

With that out of the way, it's no secret that Cassidy's House, commonly spoken off as Roy Edwards, is a FILTHY CHEAT! He/She is a dirty liar with multiple accounts. And the rat has admitted to cheating as well. On one of her blogs, she declared that she had made a fake account! Where are the stupid Mods for this? She made a DIRECT CONFESSION, and she's not been kicked out yet? She should have been out the moment a group of people signed a confession against her! On a side note, I don't know whether to refer to Roy as a He or a She, so I will use both.

Now, finally, we will start the topic of the NBA. As we all know, 2 men are struggling to return to the NBA after near career ending knee surgery. One has found a team. The other is still searching. They are Darius Miles, and Shaun Livingston, respectively. Concidentially, they were both drafted straight from High School. This, however, doesn't prove anything about High School draftees. Look at Amare Stoudemire(ok, bad example), Lebron James, Moses Malone, Kevin Garnett, so many guys came from High School and are thriving. However, Darius Miles and Shaun Livingston are having very different stories. Shaun Livingston has always tried hard in the NBA, he was gifted with talent, yes, but alot of his accomplishments(which aren't actually much,but still...) were gained through Hard Work. In the year before he was injured, he was averaging 9 points, 5 assists, 3 1/2 rebounds, and 1 steal. Darius Miles, on the other hand, was gifted with much more talent than Shaun Livingston. However, he never tried. Granted, he has done more than Livingston, but he could easily have averaged 20 points in this league if he tried. He was lazy, and only showed any effort when he felt like it. Because of this, he has never averaged more than 14 points, in the year he got injured(05-06). Along with that, he had 5 rebounds per game, 2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1 steal. As you can see, he had amazing talent, but rarely tried. He scored a career high 47 points in one game in 05-06, and grabbed a career high 16 rebounds in that same season also. This proves how sporatic his effort is.

In other news, Team USA defeated Team Argentina, badly. Argentina put up a valiant struggle, but could not do it without their leader Manu Ginobli. Unfortunately for Argentina and for the San Antonio Spurs, who must be seething in anger right now, Manu further damaged his ankle 4 minutes into the game. He was dragged off while hobbling over in pain. Luis Scola then had to lead his team, and did a good job, scoring 28 points, but in the end, he was no match for the joint attack of Team USA. Carmelo Anthony only shot 3 of 14, but made 13/13 free throws to score 22 points. Kobe shot off from beyond the arc, but still managed to score 12 points, along with Dwyane Wade. Lebron continued to show his defensive versatility, racking up the blocks and steals.

I'm not a huge fan of Charles Barkley, but I have to agree with him on the topic of the NBA Europe migration. Maybe a few sub-standard players will leave, but I am pretty sure no super star will leave in the next 5 years. They will stay till the age a bit, then leave for Europe for the money. Until then, they will try to win Championships here in the NBA. The only player I think with a small chance of leaving in 2 years is Kobe Bryant. He will be 32 then, and I'm sure he would love to play in Italy, where he grew up. Dwyane Wade and Lebron will stay(or should, anyways). Jason Kidd may leave, as it will offer good money and he is definitely not young anymore. In 3 years, he will be 38, a perfect opportunity to leave for him.
