Wimbledon starts this week so I might as well tell you who will win it. I have Federer over Roddick in one of the semifinal matches and in the other I have Nadal over Davydenko. If that happened it would set up yet again a Fed vs. Nadal final in a major. But I seriously doubt Rafa beating Federer in the final so my pick to win it all is Roger Federer.

Was anyone else hoping for a better series between UNC and Oregon State? Neither games were really close. I was expecting a 3-game series with at least one game going into extras and having all these great plays from both teams. But it never happened. Great disappointment.

Garnett to the Suns wouldn't be such a bad thing. KG would get what he always wanted: a team with great players around him. He'll just have to get used to the fact that he isn't the main man anymore. Marion and Pierce teamed up together on the Celtics could make them a contender in the weak Eastern Conference. That leaves the Timberwolves, who will get so much young talent they won't know what to do with it. It gives them a chance to rebuild and do what the Bulls did a couple of years ago earning them the nickname Baby Bulls.

As for who goes third in the draft? I'm taking Brandan Wright. Atlanta could use a versatile forward. But that most definitely does not mean they are a contender. Please don't mistake me. And I'm confused as to why Mike Conley Jr. is getting all this hype. Acie Law IV will turn out better in the pros. He took his team to the Sweet 16 last year playing alongside virtually no one. Conley has been sheltered playing with a great big man in Greg Oden. Oden drew double-teams which allowed Conley better opportunities to score. When they started guarding him he just passed it around to one of his shooters or down low to Oden which most of the time got Conley an assist. Joakim Noah is completely overrated. He is a one-dimensional player (role player) who won't turn out to be anything but a bust in the NBA. Once again, he was sheltered by great players around him in college therefore the scouts really couldn't tell how good (or not good) he actually was.

Oh, and by the way, A-Rod, even though I hate him, has my vote for AL MVP so far. Ordonez still has a shot but Rodriguez has more homers, better slugging percentage, and more RBIs.
