Tips for Going Back to School | Here's your help!

The time has come for some, and the time is nearing for most: Going Back to School.

Swapping free time all day for classrooms and homework is never easy. But, fear not, because SFAHW is here! The following are a few tips that I advise anyone going back to school to follow, because they can prove extremely important in the end:

1. Get on all of your teachers' good side

The first day is basically the beginning to a few days of a job interview. Get on their good side now, so they won't flip on you when you screw up later. You can do a few things to achieve this, such as finishing homework on time and with a little extra work put into it, be extremely courteous in class. Another thing that I have done a few times is capitalize on the fact that my teachers liked my sister and cousin before me. It's always good when your teacher has always had a sibling or cousin of yours who is quiet and smart.

2. Don't forget ANYTHING

Starting off the school year by forgetting any books, binders, supplies, etc. will piss off a teacher and ultimately slow your process of getting situated into a new environment. It's important to be on top of anything that needs to be taken care of when you are preparing to return to school. Screwing up in the beginning can badly effect your whole year.

3. Be in school-mode

This is probably the most important tip. If you aren't ready for school, than you're in big trouble. Dropping the summer mentality is key for being ready for homework, projects and strict teaching. If you're ready for schoolwork, than you've put yourself in a great position to have a good year.

4. Don't take Hemo's advice

While it may seem that since he's already finished high school, he knows all of the tricks of the trade, he's just not quite willing to part with them yet. If he tells you to do something in class, you may as well do the opposite, because he's just that big of a prick.
