Hello to all and I hope that you are as glad to see me as I am to be back.  Today is my 200th blog and I will just be jumping around some topics with you today.  So, let's talk about my beloved football.

*  This may make certain people puke, so please take caution.  I love Steven Gerrard.  He is my man-crush, if you will.  You want to know why?  Well, you should have seen that goal he scored against Boro on the weekend.  Just when it looked like we were out of it, he saved us yet again.  Thanks to him, we're 2 for 2 like Chelsea and I hope that we can keep it perfect until we face Man. U.  If we do that then we will be in great shape.

*  Let's talk some Olympics.  Lately, I have heard tons of talk about the Olympics.  Now, I'm very opinionated in this one.  The Olympics are THE showcase of the world's sports, right?  Then the game of football will always have to be a part of it.  Soccer is the world's largest sport and that's why it should be there.  Now, in the Olympics we have to fix a few things: 1. Please fix brackets to make it fair.  Now, I'm not knocking Nigeria but for god's sake they weren't the second best team.  They barely beat the US a man up and I really think that the brackets have to be balanced.  If one team gets knocked out (Italy) you end up having three semi-decent teams with a chance at the final in the Ivory Coast, Belgium, and Nigeria.  FIFA should at least fix this tourney so that Brazil could face Argentina in the final.  That's the game we want, not Argentina vs. Nigeria.  2.  And oh yeah, Great Britain better find a team to have in the next Olympics.

*  One more thing before I get to SoccerNation news.  The MLS is heating up and it's finally getting good.  We now have almost every team in a position to possibly get to the playoffs besides the Galaxy.  What's great is Huckerby helping out San Jose and I like Arena coming to LA just for the attention-grabbing stuff.  Nonetheless, everyone can see that the league is growing and really becoming a lot better.  I can also see the MLS doing very well in the CONCACAF Champions League.  Please check it out tomorrow on FSC at 8:00.  You will enjoy it.

Now for SoccerNation stuff.  The tourney will be getting started (re-started is a better word) on Saturday.  Thanks and good luck.  I really hope that you liked it.  Thanks, it's been Keeper and I'm out.
