I have been saying this before camp started and I am still saying this....the Cards Defense is LEGIT! I know its oakland and its preseason but they had their starters play into the 3rd quarter and our offense had 3 ints which led to good field position but still they could not manage to score. We were getting pressure, forcing turnovers, and making plays. I really feel we are going to have few problems on defense especially if we keep putting the pressure on the QB. THe offense with Leinart was terrible!!!!!! Leinart performance was similar to Rex Grossman on MNF vs AZ a couple of years ago. Kurt Warner needs to and deserves to start the season in SF. Boldin was starting to look like the player we love and pope had a nice td catch. We ran the ball great with hightower doing his thing and JJ Arrington finally breaking out a long td run doing smoething we thought he would do since we drafted him. Kurt Warner did nothing special and it will be interesting to see who Whisenhunt picks to start the season, but I have faith in whatever Whiz decides

Man, I agree with you on the Defense......I honestly think this defense can be special.....like top 5 in the league special. I had the same thought about it being Oakland.....kind of made me temper my excitement a little bit, but I think this D is going to be awesome.

I'm glad to see that Whiz has named Warner the starter......he does deserve it and the offense seems to respond better to him. I really hoped Leinart would step up this pre-season and take the team over for the long-term good of the franchise, but he really hasn't. Warner gives us the best chance to win now.

I really like Hightower and what he is doing...

exactly this front 7 is legit and our 2nd team could prob start for some teams...thats how much depth we have there which will take all the pressure off the secondary

you gotta remember Oakland was trying to pass throughout the game and they are a run first team

The Cradinals did well but you have to remember the Raiders were passing throughout the game and they are really a run-first team. and yes matt leinart stinks and jamarcus played better the matt
