In honor of yet another Die Hard movie by Bruce Willis (who also starred in Unbreakable), here are the top 10 Unbreakable Baseball records. (Yeah, that was a bit of a stretch of a tie-in but it'll work for a blog...)

10. Barry Bonds 73* homers. Maybe a non-roid or non-HGH player gets on a tear for a whole season but the media attention during the chase would be incredible.

9. Sam Crawford's 312 triples.

8. Cal Ripken's consecutive games streak. Someone may break it, with the help of the DH rule.

7. Nolan Ryan's 5,668 strikeouts and 2,755 walks. Both are light years ahead of No. 2 Steve Carlton.

6. Walter Johnson's 110 shutouts. Find me a pitcher who throws 10 in a season. Then he'd have to do that 10 more times.

5. Jack Chesbro's 41 wins in a season. (Old Hoss Radbourn had 59, pre-1900). Either way, forget about it.

4. Joe Dimaggio's 56-game hit streak. I'd love to put it No. 1 but 4 is more realistic.

3. Rickey Henderson's 130 single-season stolen base record. If anyone gets close, they'll see nothing but pitchouts.

2. Ty Cobb's lifetime .367 batting average. How many guys hit over .367 for one season?

1. Cy Young's 511 wins. 20 wins for 20 seasons would be awesome. But you'd still need more than 100 additional wins.
