Jiggy----- CHECK Sean O'D----CHECK Huskins---CHECK Moen---CHECK Parros---CHECK
Well so far the Anaheim Ducks have been able to keep most of their Championship team together. Minor Changes have been made, with Ryan Shannon being sent away for Jason King, as well as Tim Brent being sent to Pitt.
With the Ducks re-signing Jiggy; The Ducks have solidified the goaltending position for another 4 years, as well as Hiller coming over from Europe (whom many believe is NHL ready); makes Bryz expendable. Well with the mini furry of Goalie swap this weekend, who is in the Running for a young Goalie that can start?
The First that comes to mind is Boston, why Boston, since they have abouit 6 goalies under contract? The Bruins need consistancy in the net, someting they have been lacking for a few years now. What could be sent in return for the Ducks to send Bryz to Bean-town? Possibly Marco Sturm or Glen Murray, not sure if the Ducks would want a goalie in the package as well or not, time will tell. The Bluejackets, Blues are other possible teams as well.
The Most important news for this offseason is still waiting to be decided. Scotty Nieds. Is Scotty going to come back and finish out the last three years of his contract, or will he hang them up and leave about 13 mill on the table to go out on top, or would he like to finish the 3 years, and play the olympics in Canada and win the Gold for Canada and go out then? The question remains unanswered. Sheldon Souray is rumored to be heading out of Montreal and wants to come to the west coast so that he can spend time with his daughter, well, you better believe if the Ducks lose Scotty, Souray will be first on the list.
Selanne, Teemu is a free agent right now, but will only play for the Ducks or Retire and go out after winning his first championship, Teemu, all of us in Ducks Nation never want to see you leave the game of Hockey, we want you back, 1 More Year Teemu. One possible situation to get Teemu back could maybe bringing back Paul Kariya to entice Selanne to skate around one more year with his buddy and go for Back to Back Cups
July 1 is the start of free agency, and we should have some answers by then, ::Cheers:: Heres to a great and exciting off season

Losing Teemu would not be to good for the Ducks, and having him and kariya back, along with the goalie being resigned, there really isn't a reason I can think of that would stop the Ducks from repeating. Good info, good blog.
