Take the SEC: always loaded with talent and with good teams. But tell me, would you want your team in a conference where playing in it lowers your chances of going to a National Championship game? Personally I like that the Big 10 usually only has a mediocre 7 teams in it each year because it means my team has a better chance of going to the NC. I mean how hard was it for Florida to get to the one this year? They had to have USC lose and have they votes to get them over Michigan. Would you not rather it be much simpler than that? Playing in the SEC is great so you can have a sense of conference unity when you argue about your weekend losses or how the National Champion every year (granted it's not an SEC team) wouldn't have even gone to the NC game if they played in a tougher conference. Which is why I say, TALENTED CONFERENCES SUCK!!!!!!! At least for fans that want their team to succeed, which should be everyone right?
